Rustem Guardian Solicitors are a Legal 500 criminal defence firm. We are located within the historic Chancery Lane close to the Royal Courts of Justice, the Inns of Court and the Old Bailey.

The key areas of law that we cover are:

  • Financial crime (money laundering, POCA offences & fraud)
  • Sexual offences including voyeurism, downloading indecent images, sexual assault and rape.
  • All criminal appeals (privately funded)
  • Murder, manslaughter and related offences
  • Drug offences

We have an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to expand their experience within criminal law whilst working within the heart of legal London. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to add to our legal team.

We recruit from within and there will be the opportunity to advance within the firm.

All applications will be considered, but our ideal candidates will have a strong academic background.

Any previous experience of working within a criminal law firm is beneficial but is not essential.

Summer Placement

Each year, we run two week work experience placements during the summer and winter periods. Given the international aspects of the firm, we are particularly interested in international students or multi-lingual candidates from top universities who have an excellent level of written and spoken English. On application, candidates are ideally law undergraduates with particular interest shown in criminal law, or are post-graduates undertaking the LPC or BPTC.

Summer placements run between June and October and places are limited.
