Katerina Tsibouklis

Katerina is an experienced solicitor with a solid background in general and financial crime. She represents clients charged with a range of offences including murder and related offences, drugs conspiracies and serious violence.

Clients regularly seek to instruct Katerina for specialist advice in respect of their confiscation proceedings where they have had alternative representation for their substantive criminal proceedings.

Katerina has a particular specialism in dealing with young and vulnerable clients. This includes her recent representation of Z who was a vulnerable 16 year old acquitted of murder at the Old Bailey.

Katerina is regularly praised for her attention to detail and precise preparation. This often pays dividend including in the case of R v K where the defendant was acquitted of importing seven kilograms of cocaine following her review of several hundreds of pages of unused material which formed the basis of a defence bundle and a series of admissions.

Katerina was previously appointed as the Interim Principal Legal Adviser to the British Indian Ocean Territory.

Whilst only at the beginning of her career, Katerina is extremely well regarded by silks, junior counsel and lay clients who comment on her sound legal analysis and strategic thinking.

Katerina has developed a reputation as a specialist in homicide and related offences, from the substantive proceedings to appeals against conviction and sentence.

Katerina has been sought by media outlets to provide her expert commentary on topical criminal defence matters.

Often described as regularly punching above her weight, she promises to be a rising star at the firm.
